2001 - Baby Becca

Life Is Good

How could life be better? One year old, walking, starting to talk, Mommy and Daddy to look after me, toys to play with, the house to myself.

I just LOVE the Teletubbies

Potato chips? No, I was looking for my teddy bear. You mean the chips are kept in here? I never knew ... honest!

NO Daddy, THIS story!

"A Little Bit of Paradise"

In April we spent a week with Grandma Vicki and Auntie Liz on Grand Cayman. The hotel was on the beach and we had a wonderful time ... "a little bit of Paradise" Grandma called it. I really liked the turtle farm but didn't want to touch the turtles (or "tuttles" as I called them). The beach was called Seven Mile Beach - I was only interested in the 20 yards from the hotel to the sea!

I call the sea "Ba" just like the bath ... after all isn't it just like a big bath?

Something's Coming ...

Mommy and Daddy keep telling me something about a baby and pointing to Mommy's tummy. Mommy's tummy keeps getting fatter. Do they mean Mommy had eaten one of my dolls?. I've moved from to a new room (which is much bigger and nicer!). I can't quite figure out what's going on ...

Why is Daddy saying that it's my last day in daycare? And do I really have to say bye-bye to Barbara? She's been taking care of me for a year.

Wow! Now Oma is here. This is very strange.

This is all too much for me ... what's happening!?!

Baby Becca

Uh oh...

Did you ever see a prouder webmaster? ... I mean Daddy!

Ain't she a cutie? ... And Becca's quite cute too!!!

A baby of my own to play with - hurray!!! It's just like one of my little dolls. Except Mommy and Daddy won't let me lie on top of it, which is how I normally cuddle my dolls.

On The Road Again

We took Becca over to meet the family ... and there were a lot of them!

I'm still a baby too!

Gruncle Roger teaches me the finer points of aerodynamics ...

Step aside Godzilla - here come Mimi!

Visiting Great-Grandma Elizabeth and Great-Grandad Colin

Becca didn't seem too thrilled to meet Uncle Friso and Auntie Alison!

Granpa John and Gradma Rachael hosted a Cecil family reunion - I never knew there were so many Cecils!

Back Home

Don't we look cute!

I love riding horsies!
